Aircraft Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Well-Known California Shoreline
A helicopter flying over a crowded coastal beach unexpectedly commenced twirling uncontrollably, finally descending rapidly and smashing into a line of palm fronds as spectators looked on.
Recordings uploaded online show the aircraft beginning to twirl over Huntington Beach then descending near the edge of the beach, where it ends up lodged between palm groves and a steps adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.
First Aid Information
Local firefighters stated five people were taken to hospital including two who were in the chopper and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the crash on Saturday.
Three people on the road were harmed. Information on their wounds were still under review.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.
